Labor Economics at Hope

The labor force in Michigan has decreased by 320,000 since the year 2000, according to a report by the nonpartisan Michigan League for Public Policy.  The labor force participation rate peaked at 69 percent in 2000; in 2016 it was only 61.4 percent.  Check out the report in the Grand Rapids Press.
