Labor Economics at Hope

In Ontario, Canada, the minimum wage recently was raised to 14 dollars an hour.  Businesses there are working to figure out how to contain costs in light of this increase–this is good example of some of the factors influencing labor demand.  The Globe and Mail has an article describing some of the responses.
